About Our Ingredients

All meals at Purple Spoon are prepared using locally sourced and organic ingredients whenever possible. All meat and seafood ingredients are sustainably raised and humanely harvested selections. There are no genetically modified ingredients (non-GMO verified) used at our cooking events or sold in our store.

Catering orders must be received & approved by our kitchen staff 48 hours prior to your expected pick up time; our kitchen can receive orders Monday through Friday. Please plan accordingly when submitting your order request. Orders can be picked up Monday through Friday 11am – 2pm or by appointment; Saturday pick up is available by appointment.

From The Fields & The Earth

Our dishes feature seasonal fruits, vegetables, roots & greens from our local farms that are within a 50 mile radius of our kitchen. These farms follow beyond-organic farming methods to produce the most nourishing, flavorful and clean plant ingredients we can ask for.  For ingredients not available from a local farm we source organic certified and sustainably produced ingredients that are also non-GMO certified.

Prices are per 1 cup portions unless otherwise noted.

From the Ranch & The Farm

Our Chicken, Turkey, Eggs, Pork, Beef or Bison dishes feature meats from our local farms and ranches all within a 50 mile radius of our kitchen. All animals at these farms are pasture raised, or free ranged, and never are treated with any antibiotics or hormones. No herbicides, pesticides nor insecticides are used on the land of these farms. The exceptionally stellar element of the meats we source is that they are from farms that process their own animals ON property in their own USDA facility. The meat farms we work with are:

• Three Suns Ranch in Punta Gorda, FL
• Circle C Farm in Felda and Bonita Springs, FL
• Asbury Acres in Fort Myers, FL

Bone Stock

Also know as “Bone Broth”, bone stock is a healing elixir and the perfect way to whip up some impressive gravy or a soup base quickly. Our stocks ONLY container the marrow rich bones of free range, healthy animals simmered in Florida spring water with the addition of raw apple cider vinegar to help the release of minerals and nutrients from the bones. No other additives or ingredients are used.

As a southern retail location for Three Suns Ranch we are thrilled to offer the exact same packaging and pricing you will find at the Ranch Farm Store in Punta Gorda for the selection of raw, butchered meats we keep in our store for purchase.
